Why one file is not enough

Registering the company is the easy part. Looking like one is harder.

Once the name is registered, it needs to appear in a lot of places at once: an invoice, a website header, a social profile picture, a shop sign, a van, a delivery box, an email signature. Each one asks for a different shape of the same logo.

A single picture of a logo cannot cover that. It looks wrong on a dark background, it is too wide for a profile photo and it turns to mush at the size of a browser tab. That is why a logo for a real business arrives as a set: a horizontal version, a stacked one, the symbol on its own, and each of them in one-colour and reversed versions for dark backgrounds.

ELRO designs the whole set from one approved design, so everything matches without you chasing a designer for "just one more version".

How it works

Four steps, no jargon.

  • Play with looks

Tell ELRO your business name and what it does in a sentence, then tap like or dislike on styles.

  • Choose a concept

ELRO makes three distinct concepts for you. You pick the one that feels like your business.

  • Refine it

Your credit includes three rounds of changes, mostly by choosing from suggested adjustments.

  • Approve and download

Approve your design and ELRO builds the full pack, ready to download.

Across Ireland

Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and everywhere between.

ELRO is entirely online, so it works the same wherever you trade. There is no studio to visit and no diary to match: a founder in a Dublin co-working space and a café owner on the west coast get the same process and the same pack.

If you have a co-founder, a business partner or a client who needs a say, send them a link. They give feedback and vote on the concepts and on each round of changes, with no account needed, and you make the final call.

Before you register or print

Check the name is free first.

A good logo cannot rescue a name that someone else already owns. Before you commit to signage, packaging or a launch, search the Companies Registration Office for company names, search the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland and EUIPO for trade marks, and check that a matching domain and social handles are available.

ELRO does not provide trademark clearance. The search is yours to do, ideally before you start designing.

Questions, answered.

Does ELRO design logos for businesses in Ireland?

Yes. ELRO is online, so it works for a business anywhere in Ireland, in any sector. You tap the looks you like and ELRO designs the logo and the files that go with it.

Do I get more than one logo file?

Yes. The pack includes the horizontal, stacked and symbol layouts, each in ten treatments (full colour, reversed, one-colour, black, white and ready-made light and dark tiles), as SVG and PNG, plus icons, favicons, a colour palette and brand guidelines.

Can I give the files to a printer or sign maker?

Yes. The pack includes vector SVG files and a colour palette with HEX and RGB values, which is what most printers, sign makers and web developers ask for first.

Is this an AI logo generator?

No. A generator gives you a picture. ELRO guides you from first reactions to an approved identity and a finished, usable brand pack.

Does ELRO check that my logo is free to trademark?

No. ELRO does not provide trademark clearance. Search for conflicts before you register or rely on your identity commercially.
